How can I buy the ebove B/01?
The development of the b/01 bike is finished and we are now currently working to start the mass production. Once this is underway, we will be focusing on setting up sales and distribution in the Nordics. We will, however, be looking for distributors in other regions very soon and expect the bikes to be on the market by mid-to-late 2017.
If you live in Norway, Sweden or Denmark you can sign up here to register your pre-order interest! By signing up we’ll make sure you’ll be one of the first exclusive owners of our incredible bike and you’ll also become one of our first ebove™ ambassadors. We’ll keep in touch with you right up until your bike is ready to make sure you’re fully updated on progress.
For those outside the Nordics, we're working as fast as we can to make sure you can soon pre-order the B/01 in many other regions.
You can register your interest in pre-ordering here. This will allow us to determine levels of demand and will help us to focus on your local market. Make sure you're also following us and you’ll be the first to know when we’re ready in your country!
How much will the ebove B/01 cost?
Pricing will depend on the local distributors we appoint (may vary according to local market conditions), however we expect the final sale price to be between $6,000 and $8,000. We will keep you updated as we grow our distribution network.
When will you start shipping?
We expect expect the bikes to be on the market by mid-to-late 2017 so please bear with us…
Can I hire one of the bikes for an event?
Yes! We rent our fantastic bikes out for special occasions, such as events, exhibitions, conferences and launch parties, for example. We guarantee that our bikes will help you to create a buzz for any given occasion! We can supply all the needed accessories and staffing to give you the best experience possible. If you are interested in renting a bike, then please email us at email@example.com. Please include some general information, such as what and where your event will be plus the dates and times you would like it for and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can!
When will the rowing machine (R/01) and treadmill (T/01) be ready?
At the moment we’re 100% concentrating and focusing on getting our bikes ready for market and on giving you the best product possible! We are in the very early product development stages for the treadmill (T/01) and rowing machine (R/01), and we expect to further this development later on. Make sure you are following us here and you’ll be the first to know!
Can I come and try the bikes out?
Yes! We’re very proud of our bikes so we’re always happy to show them off to people who want to try them out. If you’re in Oslo then drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll schedule a demo for you. We also attend events around the world regularly, many of which are open to the public. Check out our calendar to see when we’re next attending an event with our bikes.
Do you produce everything in-house?
Yes, all of our software and hardware is developed, built and implemented by our wonderful in-house team in Norway. We also have a fantastic manufacturing partner in Taiwan who manufactures the bikes’ hardware for us.
Will the bikes come pre-loaded with everything? Can I just switch it on and start using straight away?
Yes, the bikes will arrive preloaded with everything and ready to use so you can literally plug it in and start biking! You will need a power supply and a Wi-Fi network to use the bike. We will provide regular software updates to keep the system functioning to perfection.
Are the Oculus Rift VR glasses included?
No, we currently do not provide Oculus Rift or any other type of Virtual Reality glasses with the bikes. The experience of riding with MTB Freeride through the provided screen is pretty awesome but you are, of course, welcome to purchase the Oculus VR glasses yourself and plug in and play. Once we've start producing we'll be experimenting more with the different possibilities in VR, so we'll keep you updated on the progress.
Who makes your bike tracks?
Our tracks are all designed and built in-house by our very talented developers. We’re working on new ideas all the time so stay tuned for new routes and experiences.
Do you provide technical support to those purchasing the bike?
Yes, anyone purchasing a bike will get a detailed instruction video that will cover every potential problem along with a solution to that problem. Your dealer should be the first point of contact for any technical problems. Beside that we will have a helpline that our customers can call if they have any further questions. How do I update my bike tracks?
It will be super easy. The bikes will have a built-in update mechanism meaning they will download updates, new tracks and new software when available. We’ll make sure we keep it simple. All you'll need is a Wi-Fi connection to enable these updates.
Do the bikes come with a warranty?
Yes, the bikes will come with a warranty.
Who and what is Activetainment, and what is ebove™?
Activetainment is a Norwegian tech start-up made up of a team of passionate bikers, gamers and technology enthusiasts who work together to create ebove™, a unique training concept that combines exercise and gaming. We believe ebove™ is the most engaging, entertaining and realistic indoor exercise experience in the world.

What makes your ebove different/special?
The bikes are unique and we don’t think there is anything comparable available today. Simply put, they are the world’s first and most realistic biking simulator.
We see our products as a unique form of exercise that combines interaction and gaming. It’s a fun and engaging way to exercise and we believe that our unique and immersive concept will be a very welcome change from ordinary stationary gym bikes. Basically we’re trying to bring some of the outdoor experience inside!
